You are invited to the 2018 Forever Green Tournament & Party benefitting Save Muny on June 2nd! The is the LAST Save Muny tournament before the city's lease of Lions ends.
Who: Friends and Supporters of Save Muny, the campaign to save Lions Municipal Golf Course in Austin, Texas.
What: 4 Person Scramble followed by a party featuring live music, food, drink, a silent auction, and more!
When: Saturday, June 2, 2018, 1pm shotgun start, 5-8pm party!
Where: Lions Municipal Golf Course
Why: The city of Austin's land lease from the University of Texas expires in May of 2019. Through events like Forever Green, the Austin community is coming together to send a message that saving this historic green space from development is the 'highest and best use' of the land.
Event proceeds benefit the Save Muny organization, a non-profit formed to actively engage the University of Texas Regents, city of Austin officials and concerned citizens to help facilitate a solution everyone can be proud of. Once green space like Lions GolfCourse is gone, it is gone forever. We want "Forever Green" not forever gone.
Tickets to the Forever Green party include BBQ dinner, cocktails, beer, live music, silent auction, and more!
