You are invited to the 2024 Forever Green Tournament benefitting The Muny Conservancy!
Who: Friends and Supporters of Save Muny, the campaign to save Lions Municipal Golf Course in Austin, Texas.
What: 4 Person Scramble and awards celebration with music, food, drinks, and more!
When: Friday May 10, 2024, 8AM & 1PM shotgun starts. Awards Ceremony and celebration begins at 5PM and is open to the public.
Where: Lions Municipal Golf Course
Why: The future of historic Lions Municipal Gold Course is still uncertain. Through events like Forever Green, the Austin community is coming together to send a message that saving this historic green space from development is the 'highest and best use' of the land.
Event proceeds benefit The Muny Conservancy, a non-profit formed to actively engage the University of Texas Regents, city of Austin officials and concerned citizens to help facilitate a solution everyone can be proud of. Once green space like Lions Golf Course is gone, it is gone forever. We want "Forever Green" not forever gone.
Plus, don't miss the return of the 19th Hole Party at the Charles Johnson House on Thursday May 9th! Tournament registration includes entry so be sure to remind your family and friends to get their tickets to join before they sell out!
